Death of Tech
This photo series is Nikitas' thesis project which examines the “death of technology”. This series is inspired by Weegee, a 1930s and 40s New York City crime photographer, who is known for his harsh black and white street photography. The series considers the speed with which technology is made and dumped, creating a vicious cycle of “fast technology”. This series photographs various pieces of old and new technology as if it was crime scene evidence, some broken, some unused and some brand new.
